Car Genius™ provides our partner’s customers with access to FREE auto advice before they go to the shop. Our automotive repair experts will answer questions and refer customers to a trustworthy, high-quality Certified RepairPal shop nearby. Car Genius™ is free to RepairPal partners and their customers.
Car Genius™ is staffed by RepairPal auto repair experts who provide mechanical advice and education on vehicle repairs and maintenance. They are highly-qualified technicians that used to work in the field, and who have strong service and educational backgrounds. Customers are encouraged to call Car Genius™ on a dedicated partner phone line to chat about car issues they are facing, get repair and maintenance prices, decipher a repair estimate, find out what to ask or expect at a shop, and follow up on post-repair questions or lingering issues. Car Genius™ services are currently available from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm ET, Monday through Friday.
